Light Industrial

Light industrial staffing for production lines that cannot stop.

ATI Solutions keeps manufacturers and production facilities running with W-2 production workers, screened, documented, and employed by us.

The operating reality

Eight-person line. Not seven.

Production only works when the line is fully staffed. One missing operator slows the station before it and starves the station after it. ATI fills the seat with a screened W-2 worker, so the line runs at eight, not seven.

How the engagement works.

A clear path from workforce need to active coverage.

01

You define the role + shift.

The role, the shift, the pace of the work, and any equipment requirements.

02

ATI recruits + screens to spec.

We recruit and screen to that specification and employ the workers on our W-2.

03

ATI employs the workers.

W-2 employees; ATI handles payroll, taxes, workers' comp, and admin, invoiced weekly against approved hours.

04

You flex three ways.

Temporary for surges and seasonal runs, temp-to-hire to earn a permanent seat, or direct hire.

Screening + employment

Screening matched to the role.
Documented per worker.

A press operator and a packer don't carry the same risk profile, so they don't get the same screening. ATI matches screening to the role and documents it per worker.

Screening matched to the roleBackground checks and drug screening are matched to the role and your facility policy, completed at ATI's cost.
Documented per workerScreening and training records are documented per worker and available for review.
W-2, workers' compEvery worker is covered by our workers' compensation policy, so a floor incident is our claim and our premium, not yours.
Equipment verified where requiredWhere a role requires machine-specific training or certification, it is verified or completed and documented before the worker takes the equipment.
The discipline behind it

Manufacturing discipline that transfers.

ATI staffs production environments up to and including FDA-regulated medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing. That discipline, screening by role, training records per worker, audit-ready files, is the same system ATI runs for every production client, whether you build regulated devices or package consumer goods.

Light industrial staffing FAQ

Answers built for buyers.

Straight answers to what light industrial employers ask before engaging a staffing firm.

Light industrial staffing is the supply of hourly workers for manufacturing and production environments: machine operators, assemblers, packers, and production general labor. It is distinct from heavy industrial trades in that roles are typically trainable within days, which makes speed of screening and reliability of attendance the deciding factors.

Light industrial staffing serves production and manufacturing floors, machine operation, assembly, and packaging, while warehouse staffing serves storage and fulfillment operations, picking, packing, and forklift work. ATI staffs both, and many facilities use both under one account.

Yes. Equipment requirements are part of the role specification, and screening is matched to it. Where your facility requires machine-specific training or certification, it is verified or completed and documented before the worker takes the equipment.

Crews flex with your production calendar. Scale-ups are scheduled against your demand forecast, and scale-downs carry no severance exposure for you because the workers are our employees. You pay for hours worked, nothing else.

ATI prepares a custom bill rate based on the role, pay rate, shift, workers'-comp classification, screening and equipment requirements, and staffing model. The rate and engagement terms are documented before the assignment begins.
